The Little Fellow

The Little Fellow Breed: Arabian
Color: Bay
Gender: Colt
Sculpture: LE Resin
Scale: Traditional
This is Kathi Boguckis Bidjar lying foal resin. The first time I saw this sculpture it reminded me of a character in a favorite book from my childhood: Marguerite Henry's "The Little Fellow". I knew he HAD to be painted to look like ?Chip? from the book. It took me a few years to get to him, but here he is! The Little Fellow! In the book they never identify his breed, but his mother is a racehorse. We all know Arabians can be racehorses and, as a child, I loved the idea of him being an Arabian, therefore when I saw this sculpture I knew it was a dream come true for me.
Completed March 2010. Media: Pastels, Acrylics.
